CONCEPT ENDORSEMENTS
Crime Prevention Associations (including both the California Crime Prevention
Officers Association and Florida Crime Prevention Association),
Police Departments, and 911 Emergency jurisdictions all across the United
States have reviewed and accepted SafeAlert®. In fact, over twelve
hundred police departments have been briefed and approved the installation
of the SafeAlert 911 Emergency Communications System® in their jurisdiction.
Many of these departments and organizations have endorsed the concept,
and have expressed the opinion that installing the SafeAlert 911 Emergency
Communications System® with the appropriate signage (such as ATM 911)
will deter crime.
Executives from financial institutions that have installed the SafeAlert®
system on their ATM's, have been extremely pleased with customer response.
Many customers have even taken the time to thank the bank for installing
the SafeAlert 911 Emergency Communications System®.
Installations of the SafeAlert® systems at automatic teller machines
on the West Coast were broadcast on national television by both ABC's Good
Morning America and CNN Headline News. Such publicity benefits all
financial institutions using the SafeAlert 911 Emergency Communications
System®.
The following is some quotes made about the SafeAlert® system:
"I am amazed at the simplicity of the idea and I'm really excited about
it. It seems like it could really make a difference at the ATM machines,
and I sure wish there had been a button that Elysia could have pushed."
Mrs. Coby Coffman, mother of a sixteen year old girl murdered at an
automatic teller machine (Broadcast May 20, 1994 on WSMV-TV, Nashville,
Tennessee.)
"It has probably been one of the best things we've done as far as customer
safety... This 911 button does more for ATM security than anything..."
Royce Cumbest, President/CEO
Merchants and Marine Bank
"It helps us sleep better at night."
Jamie Beardon, President
